Blue Jays shortstop Troy Tulowitzki won’t be ready for Opening Day, manager John Gibbons said Tuesday. Tulowitzki did not play after July 28 last year after sustaining ligament damage in his right ankle. While he has taken ground balls and batting practice this spring, his inability to run at full speed means he won’t be ready when the regular season begins in a little more than two weeks.
