Jerry Jones sounds off on Ezekiel Elliott suspension, Roger Goodell drama

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones had plenty to talk about during his appearance Friday morning on 105.3 The Fan (KRLD-FM). Given he’s at the center of multiple NFL firestorms, including Ezekiel Elliott’s protracted suspension issues and drama surrounding his purportedly adversarial role in Roger Goodell’s contract extension negotiations, it’s hardly surprising.First, regarding Goodell’s contract extension — or lack thereof — Jones explained why he’s considering a potential lawsuit against the NFL over issues surrounding the commissioner. “This is such an important matter in light of a lot of the things that are going on in the NFL right now,” Jones said during Friday’s interview, as transcribed by The Dallas Morning News. “I basically feel this extension of Roger should be reviewed and approved by all the owners, not just a few of the owners.“This is simply about making sure that all clubs have input into not only the commissioner’s [contract] extension, but also in future years his decisions.
